Kitchener Panthers 8, London Majors 5
In Kitchener, Craig Stroh and Rowan Anderson belted solo home runs in the seventh inning to help the Panthers to an 8-5 win over the London Majors.
Bryon Bell (3-0) pitched the complete game for Kitchener, giving up five runs and six hits while striking out 10 batters and walking three. Joel Scott also homered and Ben Kangas had three hits in the win.
Troy Kiesling (0-4) allowed five runs on seven hits with two strikeouts and four walks in 3 1/3 innings.
Sean McGregor hit a solo home run to lead off the ninth inning.

Hamilton Cardinals 17, St. Thomas Storm 2
In St. Thomas, R.J. Lambert had two doubles and drove in four runs to pace the Hamilton Cardinals to a 17-2 win over the Storm.
Jeff McLeod chipped in with three hits and drove in three runs and Francis Cubos added four singles and a pair of RBI.
Shawn Lynn (1-1) had 11 strikeouts and allowed two runs and three hits in five innings.
Starter Aaron Owens (0-1) was tagged for 11 runs and nine hits in two innings.
Darby Parsons had a two-run single in the first inning for St. Thomas.
