In Oshawa, Ryan Balan hit a grand slam in the eighth inning to power the Dodgers to a 13-10 win over the Brantford Red Sox.
Ken Calway hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and Mick Kurhan and Pat Tobin each had three hits and an RBI.
Jamaal Joseph (2-1) picked up the win with 1 2/3 innings of relief, allowing two unearned runs and one hit. Starter Steve Butterworth gave up six runs and five hits in six innings and Chad Stone retired the final batter in the ninth inning for his first save.
Chris Leroux (0-1) gave up three runs on three hits in 2/3 of an inning in relief of starter Jim Ripley, who gave up seven runs in 6 1/3 innings.
Scott Hughes had two hits for Brantford, including a two-run homer in the seventh inning.

Spoljaric (5-0) picked up his league-leading fifth win and is the Intercounty leader with 77 strikeouts in seven starts. Adam Segar was the only baserunner that Spoljaric allowed when he singled to lead off the third inning. Rob Bland gave up one run and two hits in one inning or relief.
Rick Ross (0-3) gave up five runs and nine hits while striking out four batters and walking one in a complete-game effort for St. Thomas.
Kevin Treichel had a pair of solo homers for Toronto and Rob Patterson added an RBI double in the first inning.
