The Royals weren�t about to let the fanfare in Oshawa stop them from coming up with their first win of the season. Guelph newcomer Brian Dikdan threw the win while veteran Trevor Churchill was 1 for 4 with 3 stolen bases. Four other Royals chipped in with 2 hits. Darryl Reid had 2 hits to lead the Dodgers attack while Darryl Jennings was tagged with the loss.

Tyson Morgan went 3 for 5 to lead the Red Sox to a 7-run victory over the visiting Tigers. Morgan added 3 RBI�s while Ryan Lane chipped in with 2 hits and 2 RBI�s. Stefan Strecker earned the win by throwing 2 innings in relief.

Hamilton scored 7 unearned runs on 6 Barrie errors en route to the 9-2 victory. Justin Barkeweitz threw a complete game 7-hitter to earn the victory while Cam Newitt lasted 4 innings and took the loss. Jeremy Haiken went 4 for 5 and added 3 RBI�s to lead the Cardinals attack.
