Brantford Red Sox 6, London Majors 2
In Brantford, Steve Charles scored the winning run on a sixth-inning triple by Eric Wolfe to give the Red Sox a 6-2 win over the London Majors in the Intercounty Baseball League on Saturday.
Brett Gibson (3-2) allowed two runs and five hits while striking out six batters in eight innings.
Charles had three hits and scored twice and Scott Hughes had three singles and an RBI. Jesse Robertson added a pair of singles and scored twice.
Ryan Finnson (2-1) allowed three runs and eight hits in six innings.
Sean McGregor homered in the sixth inning and Jordan Rosenberg tripled and scored a run.
