Kitchener Panthers 6, Waterloo Tigers 2

In Waterloo, Andy Pietraszko hit a two-run double in the second inning to help the Kitchener Panthers to a 6-2 win over the Tigers.

Tom Bertic (4-2) gave up one run and four hits while striking out eight batters and walking one in five innings. Brad Hagedorn worked the final four innings, allowing one unearned run and four hits for his first save.

Brad Earle (1-4) allowed four runs - three earned - and four hits in three innings. Ryan Morris had three hits, including a double for Waterloo.
