London Majors 5, Toronto Maple Leafs 1 (Game 1)
Toronto Maple Leafs 3, London Majors 0 (Game 2)

In Toronto, Chris Robinson had three hits, including a home run in the fifth inning to help the London Majors to a 5-1 win over the Maple Leafs in the first game of a doubleheader on Sunday. The loss ended the Maple Leafs 37-game winning streak at Christie Pits that dated back to August, 2001.

Kevin MacDonald added three hits and drove in a run for London.

Yoel Fernandez (5-0) struck out nine batters and allowed one run and three hits in seven innings.

Chris Rauth (1-1) gave up four runs - one unearned - and nine hits in five innings.

Paul Spoljaric pitched a complete-game shutout to back the Maple Leafs to a 3-0 win in the second game.

Spoljaric (10-0) allowed three hits and struck out four batters in the win.

Damon Topolie brought home the winning run with a two-run single in the fifth inning. Kevin Treichel added an RBI single in the sixth and Tyler Johnstone stole five bases and scored a run in the win.

Greg Goss (0-3) gave up two runs and two hits in five innings for London.

Hamilton Cardinals 5, Barrie Baycats 4

In Hamilton, Andy Steeds drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning to help the Cardinals edge the Barrie Baycats 5-4.

Jon McGinn had a two-run double in the first inning for Hamilton.

Ryan Granthan (1-0) struck out seven batters in 2 2/3 scoreless innings of relief and Shawn Lynn recorded the final out for his first save.

Brad Bissell (4-3) gave up five runs - three earned - and six hits in eight innings. He struck out 13 batters and walked three in the loss.

Jordan Lundberg had a single and drove in three runs and Liam O'Brien doubled in the first inning and added an RBI single in the second for Barrie.

Brantford Red Sox 7, St. Thomas Storm 1

In St. Thomas, Dave Parsons had three hits, including an RBI double to help the Brantford Red Sox to a 7-1 win over the Storm in a rain-shortened seven inning game.

Jesse Robertson added a pair of doubles and drove in a run in the win. Tom Sidorkiewicz (3-0) gave up one run and three hits while striking out three batters and walking two.

Rick Ross (1-6) allowed seven runs - four earned - and 12 hits in five innings. Aaron Owen singled and drove in a run and tossed two innings of relief for St. Thomas.

Guelph Royals 13, Kitchener Panthers 4

In Kitchener, Jason Borges clubbed a two-run home run in the third inning to help the Guelph Royals to a 13-4 win over the Panthers.

Chris Becker had four hits, drove in four runs and scored three times for Guelph.

Ryan Armstrong (3-2) tossed six scoreless innings. He gave up three hits and struck out five batters in the win.

Adam Hornostaj (4-3) gave up 10 runs - nine earned - and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings. Randy Curran and Rowan Anderson each had a pair of hits for Kitchener.

Oshawa Dodgers 16, Waterloo Tigers 4

In Waterloo, Ken Calway hit a grand slam and a two-run homer to power the Oshawa Dodgers to a 16-4 win over the Tigers.

Calway also singled and doubled in the win and Ryan Crotin and Mick Kurhan added home runs for Oshawa. Adam Clarke (1-1) pitched six innings for the win and Justin Divell (0-1) suffered the loss for Waterloo.
