Brantford Red Sox 7, Toronto Maple Leafs 4

In Brantford, the Red Sox scored the winning run in the fifth inning to claim a game 7 victory in their semi-final series against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The game was resumed in the middle of the third inning after it was postponed on Tuesday when the lights failed to come on at Christie Pits in Toronto.

Stefan Strecker (1-2) was the winner after holding Toronto to a pair of runs and four hits in five innings.

Brantford will face the Guelph Royals in the Intercounty Baseball League championship final series. The complete schedule for the series will be announced later this week.

Brantford jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the series before Toronto responded with a pair of wins to even the series. Four of the seven games were decided by one run.
