Brantford strikes back with 9-6 win in Game 3

In Guelph, Wayne Forman drilled an RBI single in the fifth inning that brought home the winning run, giving the Brantford Red Sox a 9-6 win over the Royals in Game 3 of the Intercounty Baseball League Championship Series. Guelph leads the series 2-1 with Game 4 scheduled for Tuesday night in Brantford.
Eric Wolfe belted out four hits and scored a run and Scott Hughes was three-for-four with a run scored in the win.
Stefan Strecker (3-2) gave up six runs - three earned - and 10 hits in 6 1/3 innings for Brantford.
Kevin Hinton hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning for Guelph and Brian Dikdan (1-1) took the loss after allowing eight runs - two earned - and eight hits in five innings.
