Intercounty Baseball Results - Saturday May 8

Oshawa Dodgers 4, Barrie Baycats 2

In Barrie, Kevin Wallace belted a two-run double in the fourth inning to help the Oshawa Dodgers double the Baycats 4-2 on opening day in the IBL on Saturday.

Vance Crozier (1-0) gave up one unearned run and three hits in five innings for the win and Dan Nauth finished the game with one run in four innings for the save.

Darryl Reid smacked a pair of hits and drove in a run for Oshawa.

Angus Roy (0-1) surrendered three runs and three hits in four innings to take the loss.

Jared McCord and Jonathan Baksh each had a pair of hits for Barrie.
