Due to a serious accident on the 401 between London and Kitchener the Panthers arrival in St. Thomas was severely delayed. The game�s first pitch came at 9:15 and both teams agreed to play a seven inning game.
Storm starter Kris Kewley earned the win going 5 innings. He struck out 6 and walked 4. Peter Babcock went strong until being struck in the hand by a line drive to the mound. Shaun Speller struck out the only batter he faced to end the game. Rick Ross knocked in the winning run with a fourth inning single. Three other St.Thomas players added singles.
For Kitchener Brian Carter had two of the Panthers four hits while Jeff Pietraszko hit a solo home run. Mike Olioes took the loss with a complete-game effort. He struck out two and walked one.

The Dodgers surprised the visiting Maple Leafs with three runs in the second inning off Toronto starter Tim Goheen, but Maple Leafs reliever John Lockwood shut the door with five innings of stellar pitching. Lockwood didn�t allow a hit or a walk and struck out eight in five innings to collect the win. Rich Butler led the Toronto attack with three hits while Mike Asselin went two for three.
For Oshawa Kael Racioppa went one for four with a pair of RBI�s while Terry Arges stroked a double. Darryl Jennings threw three innings of relief and was given the loss. He gave up two earned runs and walked one. The Dodgers drop to 1 and 3, the Maple Leafs improve to 4 and 1.
