Oshawa Dodgers 10, Hamilton Cardinals 5
In Hamilton, Darryl Reid clubbed a three-run homer in the fourth inning that helped the Oshawa Dodgers double the Hamilton Cardinals 10-5 in the Intercounty Baseball League on Wednesday.
Reid had three hits in the game, including a double, and drove in six runs while Chris Papalia added a double and scored three times.
Starter Dan Nauth (1-0) gave up five runs and six hits in 5 2/3 innings for the win.
Matt Larreau (0-1) was tagged for five runs and six hits in the loss.
Shayne Ridley drove in a run in the first inning and then stroked a three-run double in the third and P.J. MacDonald added three hits and scored a run for Hamilton.
