Toronto Maple Leafs 11, Kitchener Panthers 2

In Toronto, Rob Butler hit a pair of solo homers that powered the Toronto Maple Leafs to an 11-2 win over the Kitchener Panthers in one of three games in the Intercounty Baseball League on Wednesday.

Jess Robertson had three hits, including a solo homer, and drove in five runs in the win. Kevin Treichel and Damon Topolie each added three hits.

Jeff Reeves (1-0) allowed one run and seven hits across five innings for the win.

Kitchener starter Darcy Osipinko (0-3) was tagged for four runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Hamilton Cardinals 10, Stratford Storm 3

In Hamilton, Jon McGinn smacked a pair of doubles, drove in two runs and scored twice to help the Hamilton Cardinals to a 10-3 win over the Stratford Storm.

Shayne Ridley had a pair of hits and scored two runs and P.J. MacDonald scored twice.

Tom Boleska (1-1) struck out nine batters across six innings for the win while Trey Schurr (0-3) allowed 10 hits in six innings in the loss.

Mark Cox had a pair of singles and drove in two runs for Stratford.

In Oshawa, Len Elias belted three hits, including a three-run triple that paced the Brantford Red Sox to a 13-3 win over the Oshawa Dodgers.

Eric Wolfe had a pair of hits, including a two run single, and T.J. Shimizu was three-for-six and scored two runs.

Stefan Strecker (2-0) allowed three runs - two earned - and nine hits in eight innings.

Adam Clarke (0-2) gave up eight runs - three earned - and 10 hits across six innings.

Darryl Reid was two-for-four with an RBI and Ryan Crotin had three hits for Oshawa.
