Kitchener Panthers 6, Brantford Red Sox 5
In Brantford, Chris Duggan scored the winning run on a single by Harpreet Padda in the eighth inning to give the Kitchener Panthers a 6-5 win over the Brantford Red Sox.
Brian Carter had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and drove in four runs and Craig Stroh added three hits and scored two runs for Kitchener.
Adam Hornostaj (1-0) allowed three runs - two earned - and eight hits in 7 1/3 innings for the win.
Stefan Strecker (2-1) gave up five runs and nine hits in six innings.
Eric Wolfe had four hits, including a double, scored a run and picked up an RBI for Brantford.
