Barrie Baycats 7, Oshawa Dodgers 1
In Barrie, David Latour belted a two-run double in the third inning to help the Barrie Baycats to a 7-1 win over the Oshawa Dodgers on Thursday in the Intercounty Baseball League's first weekday afternoon game.
Alex Borgo homered and Toby Legacy had three hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs for Barrie.
Jordan Neufeld (2-1) allowed one run and six hits and struck out seven batters in six innings.
Adam Clarke (0-3) worked eight innings for Oshawa, giving up seven runs and 15 hits. Ken Calway had a pair of hits and scored a run in the loss.
