In Toronto, Danny Gibbons blasted a two-run home run in the fifth inning to pace the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 5-1 win over the Barrie Baycats in one of two games on the Intercounty Baseball Schedule on Wednesday.
Jeff Reeves (2-1) gave up one run and five hits in five innings for the win and Mike Phinney worked a scoreless inning of relief for the save.
Jordan Neufeld (2-2) allowed two runs and five hits in four innings and Toby Legace and David Latour each had two hits for Barrie.

Brantford Red Sox 18, Oshawa Dodgers 3
In Brantford, Raul Borjas drove in six runs to power the Brantford Red Sox to an 18-3 win over the Oshawa Dodgers.
Borjas had a single, double and triple and scored two runs in the win. T.J. Shimizu had four hits, including a double, and scored four times.
Stefan Strecker (4-1) allowed two runs and seven hits while striking out five batters in six innings.
Matt Tosoni (0-1) gave up 11 runs - eight earned - and nine hits in four innings.
