Toronto Maple Leafs 8, Hamilton Cardinals 4
In Toronto, Rob and Rich Butler belted solo homers in the first inning to help the Toronto Maple Leafs double the Hamilton Cardinals in one of three match-ups in the Intercounty Baseball League on Sunday.
Rob Butler added another solo homer in the third inning while Rich drove in the winning run in the seventh to push Toronto into first place in the IBL standings.
Dave Steffler (4-1) gave up three unearned runs and four hits in six innings.
Nino Fasulo (0-3) gave up four runs and four hits - including three home runs - in six innings.
Shayne Ridley hit a two-run homer in the third inning and P.J. McDonald added a solo blast in the eighth.

In Stratford, Cam Hewitt and Jordan Neufeld pitched complete-game shutouts to back the Barrie Baycats to a sweep of a doubleheader against the Stratford Storm.
Hewitt (1-0) allowed two hits and struck out five batters in Barrie's 4-0 win in the first game.
Adwin Springer had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs. Marc Besteman doubled and drove in a run and Jared McCord added three singles in the win.
Kevin McNight (0-1) suffered the loss after giving up four runs - three earned - and eight hits in a complete-game effort.
Adam Keller and Josh Braby singled for Stratford.
Neufeld (3-2) tossed a one hit gem to give Barrie a 1-0 win in the second game. He struck out four batters and walked two.
Jonathan Baksh singled, tripled and drove in a run and Alex Borgo added a double in the win.
Yoel Fernandez (1-4) gave up one unearned run and five hits in seven innings while Matt Moir got Stratford's only hit in the game.
