Pete Babcock stroked his first home run of the season and added three RBI�s as the Storm move back to the .500 mark. Jason Head added two singles, a stolen run and scored a run for St. Thomas, now 4 and 4. Brent Kennedy (1-0) went the distance to notch the win. He allowed four runs on eleven hits while striking out three and walking one.
Brantford starter Brett Gibson took the loss after giving up five runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings. Scott Hughes led the Red Sox at the plate with a triple and two RBI�s while Dwayne Ellis chipped in with two doubles, a stolen base and two RBI�s. The Red Sox fall to 3 and 6 with the loss.

Guelph scored three times in a single inning three times en route to the 10-2 victory. Leon led the attack with three hits, two runs and an RBI. Kevin Hinton added a two-run home run in the third inning with Marc Sgrignoli chipping in with two hits and a solo home run in the third. Casey Cooper (1-0) went six innings for the win, allowing two earned runs on six hits while striking out two and walking two. Mike Didier came on in the seventh and didn�t allow a hit for three innings.
For the Tigers David Lamky went two for four with an RBI. Starter Scott Jealous (0-2) last two and two-thirds and took the loss. He struck out one and walked one.
Baycats Win Wild One Over Panthers

The Baycats roared back from a 9-0 deficit to down the Panthers 12-10 in a wild one this afternoon. With the win Barrie moves into a third-place tie with Hamilton while Kitchener drops into sole possession of fifth. The Baycats still trailed 9-2 going into the bottom of the fifth when the exploded for seven runs thanks in part to three Panthers errors. Jeremy Ulyenbroek led Barrie at the plate with three doubles and 4 RBI�s. Angus Roy earned the win with four solid innings of relief. He struck out eight and walked none.
Todd Dougherty took the loss in relief of starter Chris Currie. Dougherty gave up four runs (2 earned) in three and a third. Currie was tagged for eight runs (3 earned) in his four and two-thirds innings. Luke Baker led the Kitchener attack going three for four with two walks.
Big First Inning Leads Cardinals Past Dodgers

The Cardinals scored four times in the first inning as they downed the Dodgers 6-4 in game one of a doubleheader. Tom Robertson went 4 for 4 to lead Hamilton with Andy Steeds adding two hits and two RBI�s. Ishmail Cox had two hits and one RBI for the winners. Joe Demartino (1-0) went five and two-thirds inning to earn the win, giving up two earned runs on six hits while striking out eight and walking three. Andrew Schwalm threw and inning and a third of scoreless ball to notch the save.
Oshawa starter Ryan Colburn (0-1) went the distance in a losing effort. He allowed three earned runs on thirteen hits while striking out six and walking three. Ryan Crotin went 2 for 4 with a triple to lead the Dodgers offence with Ken Calway adding a hit and 2 RBI�s.
Goldston Fans 11 As Cardinals Sweep Dodgers

Omar Goldston (2-0) fanned eleven Dodgers as the Cardinals completed a sweep of the doubleheader. Goldston threw a complete-game six-hitter, striking out 11 and walking only one as Hamilton improves to 7 and 3. The Dodgers drop to 2 and 6 in their first-ever season in Major Inter-County ball. The Cardinals struck twice in the seventh inning on a single and four walks given up by losing pitcher Ryan Mellor (1-1). Mellor came on in relief of starter Steven Reese and gave up two runs on one hit. Brad Hanna drove in the lone Oshawa run.
For Hamilton Andy Steeds went two for three and scored twice while Sean Reilly went two for three and added an RBI.
