Guelph now sits a game and a half back of first-place Toronto with a game in hand after tonight�s 17-1 home victory. Three Royals did a majority of the damage, including Kyle Leon who was 3 for 4 with five RBI�s. Leon had a solo home run (1) to lead off a nine-run sixth inning, and he scored four times. Chris Becker went 3 for 5 with an RBI and four runs while Trevor Churchill had two hits including a solo home run (2) in the fourth inning, two RBI�s and three runs scored. Ryan Armstrong (1-1) earned the win and had a no-hitter going through five innings. Armstrong surrendered only two hits over his seven innings while striking out eight and walking two.
For Brantford Dan Baribeau stroked his third and fourth doubles of the season and drove in the Red Sox only run. Starter Ryan Reid (1-2) took the loss after giving up five earned runs on seven hits though three and a third. He struck out two and walked four.
