London Majors 15, Stratford Storm 7

In London, Pete Babcock was five-for-six with four doubles to help the Majors to a 15-7 win over the Stratford Storm in the Intercounty Baseball League on Monday.

Babcock drove in three runs and scored three times and Simon Galarraga added three hits and three RBI.

Kirk Martin (1-0) gave up five runs on six hits in five innings for the win.

Nate Thompson (0-1) was the loser after allowing five runs in three innings in relief of starter Takayoshi Mori, who gave up three runs in two innings.
