For the second time in as many days the Maple Leafs downed the Dodger, this time at Christie Pits in Toronto. Rich Butler led the winners with a two-run home run in the fourth and a two-run double in the six-run second inning. Mike Grieve and Jason Corrigale added two hits each while Rob Butler stroked a solo home run in the sixth inning. Chris Rauth (4-0) went six innings to earn the victory. He gave up two unearned runs on four hits while striking out four.
Oshawa starter Adam Clarke (0-4) took the loss, allowing eight runs on seven hits over five innings. He walked three and struck out one. Ken Calway was the only Dodger with two hits.

Ryan Lane had a pair of singles and three RBI's and Raul Borjas added three hits and two RBI's to lead the Red Sox over the Tigers. Matt Matheson chipped in with two singles and an RBI. Brantford starter Ryan Reid (2-1) went seven innings for the win, allowing five earned runs while striking out five and walking one.
For Waterloo Mike Curphey (1-2) took the loss, giving up six earned runs while striking out two. Tim Henderson led the offense with a double, two singles and an RBI. John Hanko had a two-RBI double and Jason Herbert a two-RBI single, both in the first inning.
Royals Win Wild One Over Panthers

The Royals scored three times in the top of the tenth inning and held on for a 12-11, ten-inning win over the Panthers. Dave Teboekhorst led off the tenth with a solo home run, then Guelph scored two unearned runs on two Kitchener errors. Randy Curran did belt a two-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the inning but the comeback fell short.
Chris Becker went 3 for 6 with two runs and two stolen bases for the winners. Dave Riley was 3 for 3 with two walks, three runs and two stolen bases. Ryan Armstrong (1-1) picked up the win with two innings of relief. He gave up two runs on three hits. Starter Mel Melehes allowed nine earned runs over six innings.
Joel Scott (2-1) went nine and a third in a losing effort for Kitchener. He gave up nine earned runs on thirteen hits, striking out two and walking six. Jeff Pietraszko was 3 for 3 with three walks and a two-out, two-run home run in the fifth inning. Luke Baker went 4 for 6 with three singles, a double and an RBI.
Woolscheid Leads Majors Over Cardinals

London's Joe Woolscheid (1-2) tossed a complete-game six-hitter to lead the Majors to victory. He struck out six and walked just one while giving up two earned runs. Junior Chuck Roberts led the Majors attack with two single, a double, a sac fly and an RBI. Rowan Lam and Jay Greves chipped in with two singles, an RBI and two runs apiece.
For Hamilton Jeremy Walker had two doubles and a single and Shayne Ridley hit a solo home run in the fifth inning, his first. Cardinals starter Nino Fasulo went five innings and took the loss. He was tagged for five runs, but only two earned.

Jarrod Haase�s RBI single in the sixth inning scored Shayne Ridley with the winning run as Hamilton earned a split with London this afternoon. Ridley also had a double and scored twice in total while Haase had three singles and two RBI�s in the game. Jeremy Walker chipped in with an RBI-double. Craig Hawkins (1-0) picked up the win, giving up just one earned run on two hits in two innings of relief. Hamilton starter Omar Golston gave up four earned runs in his five innings of work.
London reliever and loser Jared Franke went one inning and gave up the winning run. Starter Shaun Peet allowed four earned runs over four innings.
