Storm starter Kris Kewley spotted the Red Sox a 1-0 lead after half an inning, but St. Thomas roared back with five runs and Kewley cruised through seven innings to up his record to 3 and 1. He gave up two earned runs on four hits while striking out two and walking three. Chris Gosnell and Shaun Spellar threw a hitless inning each to close out the game. Jason Head led the Storm with a home run (3), a single and three RBI�s. Pete Babcock added two hits and a pair of RBI�s while Andrew Mercier had two singles and one RBI.
For Brantford Dan Baribeau stroked a solo home run and a single while Steve Charles added a double. Daniel Nauth started and took the loss (0-1), giving up six earned runs on eight hits in four and a third innings.

Bill Lawrence (1-2) threw a complete-game six-hitter as the Cardinals defeated the Panthers for the second straight time this season. The loss was also the two-time defending champions� fourth in a row.
The only run Lawrence allowed was unearned as the lefty struck out five and walked two. Two of his whiffs came in the form of the final two outs of the game. Shayne Ridley led the Hamilton attack with three hits and a walk, three runs scored and an RBI. Jeff Martin went two for three with two walks and scored twice.
Kitchener starter Jesus Figueora took the loss in his first outing of the season after allowing four earned runs on eight hits over five innings. He struck out six and walked four. Luke Baker, who came into the game trailing only teammate Jeff Pietraszko in the batting race, went three for four and scored the only Panthers run on a ground out by Jeff Martin. The Cardinals improve to 10 and 7, the Panthers fall to 6 and 8.
