Oshawa Dodgers 10, Stratford Nationals 7

In Oshawa, Ryan Crotin had three hits, including a 454-foot home run to power the Oshawa Dodgers to a 10-7 win over the Stratford Nationals.

Craig Megill was four-for-five and drove in a pair of runs for the Dodgers, who picked up a win in manager Mike Prosper�s debut.

Pat Smith (1-0) allowed three runs on nine hits in 2 1/3 innings for the win.

Shawn Gillespie tossed six strong innings for Stratford before Ryan Bartley (0-1) gave up six runs in two innings for the loss.

Hamilton Thunderbirds 5, Brantford Red Sox 4

In Brantford, Tony Daubert singled home Justin Bartkiewicz in the 10th inning to lift the Hamilton Thunderbirds to a 5-4 win over the Brantford Red Sox.

Andy Steeds hit a pair of singles and drove in a run and Jeff McGinn had three hits, including a double in the win.

Doug Chrysler (1-0) allowed two runs � one earned � on two hits in seven innings for the win.

Matt Miller (0-1) took the loss after giving up one unearned run in 1 1/3 innings. Stefan Strecker started the game and allowed two unearned runs and seven hits in four innings.

Raul Borjas doubled and scored a run for Brantford.

Guelph Royals 10, Kitchener Panthers 7

In Guelph, Kyle Leon and Ted Drew Smith clubbed two-run home runs that paced the Guelph Royals to a 10-7 win over the Kitchener Panthers.

Rylan Pranger (1-0) allowed two run son four hits in three innings for the win.

Jeff Pietraszko and Bryon Bell hit two-run homers in the sixth inning and Luke Baker added a solo blast in the seventh inning for Kitchener.

Wes Koch (0-1) gave up five runs and five hits in 2/3 of an inning of work after starter Ian Harvey held Guelph to a run on two hits in five innings.
