Ryan Colbourn (1-2) picked up his first win of the season as a result of this afternoon�s solid nine-inning effort. He struck out three and didn�t walk a single batter as the Dodgers notched their fourth win of the season and moved ahead of the Red Sox into eighth place. Darryl Reid led Oshawa at the plate with two hits including a two-run home run (2) in the second inning. Reid also had an RBI-single. Ryan Crotin added two hits and two RBI�s while Kael Racioppa went two for three with a triple.
For Brantford Tyson Morgan and Raul Borjas each went one for four with and RBI. Red Sox starter Ryan Reid (2-3) took the loss, getting tagged for five runs on six hits in just a third of an inning of work.
Spoljaric, Butler Lead Maple Leafs Over Panthers

The Maple Leafs won their eleventh in a row and handed the two-time defending Panthers their fifth straight loss with this afternoon�s 8-3 victory. Winning pitcher Paul Spoljaric gave up only one hit in seven innings of work, a single off the bat of Kitchener�s Luke Baker in the first inning. Spoljaric struck out thirteen and walked three. Rob Butler had a huge afternoon at the plate with three home runs - a solo shot in the first, a two-run homer in the fourth and another two-run blast in the sixth. Butler leads the league with seven round-trippers. Damon Topolie, Mike Grieves and Mike Asselin had three hits each for the Maple Leafs with Rob Patterson adding a two-run home run in the first inning.
Kitchener starter Adam Hornostaj took the loss after giving up five runs on seven hits in five innings. He struck out two and walked one.
Babcock Leads Storm Past Baycats

Pete Babcock knocked in two runs and notched the save as the Storm downed the Baycats 4-3 in game one of a doubleheader. Babcock came on in relief of starting pitcher Brent Kennedy and threw three no-hit innings. He struck out four and walked three. Kennedy (3-0) earned the win, allowing three earned runs on seven hits over four innings. Kris Kewley added a single and an RBI for the winners while Tyler Stevenson had a pair of singles.
For Barrie David Latour had a single and two RBI�s and Cory Turchan two singles and an RBI. Cam Newitt went the distance but was tagged with the loss. He gave up four earned runs on six hits while striking out four and walking three.
Storm Complete Sweep Of Baycats With Extra Inning Thriller

The Storm completed a dramatic comeback to earn a doubleheader sweep of the Baycats. Jeremy Hudson knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning to push St. Thomas two games over .500. Barrie had taken a 5-3 lead with two runs of their own in the eighth. Jason Head led the Storm at the plate with a single, two doubles and two RBI�s. Bob Grant had three singles and an RBI while Hudson finished the night off with a pair of singles and a double. Shawn Spellar (2-2) earned the win in relief of starter Tom Vancasteren. Spellar tossed the final two innings and gave up two earned runs on three hits. Vancasteren also allowed two earned runs on five hits.
For Barrie Angus Roy took his first loss of the season (4-1). He went all eight innings and allowed five earned runs on thirteen hits. Jared McCord led the Baycats offensively with a home run (2), two singles and three RBI�s. David Latour added a solo home run (1) while Sean O�Brien chipped in with two singles and a double.
