Pat Tobin�s single in the bottom of the ninth scored Darryl Reid with the winning run as the Dodgers earned their biggest victory as an Inter-County Major team. Tobin went 2 for 5 with two RBI�s on the afternoon while Reid was 2 for 4 with a double. Ken Calway added a towering solo home run (3) and four walks for the Dodgers. Chris Chavez (1-0) picked up the win with two inning of relief in his first appearance with Oshawa. He allowed just one base runner. Starter Ryan Colburn gave up three earned runs on seven hits in seven innings.
Guelph�s Mike Didier (0-1) took the loss after facing four batters in the ninth inning. He gave up the winning run on two hits and two walks. Chris Becker led the Royals attack with three hits including a solo home run (3). Kyle Leon had two hits and two stolen bases while Nathan Grant belted a solo homer, his second of the season.

Paul Spoljaric went six innings to up his record to 3-0 in his first Inter-County Major season. He struck out nine, walked one gave up two earned runs. Rich Butler had a solo home run to lead Toronto while brother Rob added and RBI single.
Storm starter Kris Kewley (3-2) took the loss, giving up one earned run on five hits in six innings. He struck out three and walked one. Pete Babcock led the St. Thomas attack with two hits and an RBI.
Ertel Goes Six Strong To Lead Maple Leafs

Chad Ertel went six strong innings in his first outing of the season to lead the Maple Leafs past the Storm 8-1. With the win Toronto completed the doubleheader sweep and won their sixteenth straight. Ertel allowed an earned run on six hits while striking out five and walking none. Rob Butler led the offense with three hits including a solo home run and two RBI�s. Sean Travers added a two-RBI double while Damon Topolie chipped in with two hits and two RBI�s.
For St. Thomas Pete Babcock had two hits and an RBI with Kris Kewley adding a pair of hits. Brent Kennedy (2-1) took the loss, giving up four earned runs on six hits in three and a third innings.

Brantford scored eight times in the top of the seventh inning to erase a 5-4 deficit and down the Cardinals in game one of this afternoon�s doubleheader. Matt Moir�s grand slam home run in his first game with the Red Sox was the inning�s big hit. Ryan Lane added an RBI triple for the winners while Raul Borjas scored three times and had a single. Stefan Strecker (3-0) picked up the win with five and a third innings of relief after starter Jeff Simeone left the game.
Sean Allen (0-2) took the loss in relief of Jason Pilkington. Ishmael Cox led the Cardinals with a two-run home run (1) while Jeremy Walker and Shane Ridley had two singles and an RBI each.
Robertson, Reilly Lead Cardinals To Split With Red Sox

Tom Roberston and Sean Reilly had two RBI�s each to lead the Cardinals to a 6-2 win and a doubleheader split with the Red Sox. Joe Hill (1-0) picked up the win after a complete-game effort with seven strikeouts.
Mark Ferguson (0-1) went five and two-thirds innings and took the loss for Brantford. Scott Hughes knocked in one of the two Red Sox runs.

Jared McCord had a huge afternoon as the Baycats pounded the Panthers 12-4 at Jack Couch Park. McCord went 4 for 4 with two walks, had a two-run home run (3) and added three RBI�s. Ryan Davis added three singles and a walk for the winners. Brad Bissell (1-1) earned the win, allowing four earned runs on seven hits in seven and two-thirds innings. He struck out twelve and walked five.
Kitchener starter Jesus Figueroa (0-2) took the loss after giving up four earned runs on ten hits in six innings. He struck out four and walked five. Randy Curran (5) and Mike Irving (1) each had solo home runs for Kitchener who�s record drops to 6 and 11 with the loss.

Shaun Peet (1-0) went seven strong innings to lead the Majors to their seventh win of the season. With the win London moves a game and a half up on both Brantford and Kitchener in the battle for sixth place. Peet struck out six and walked four. The Majors� Pat Boyd, who came into the game batting .128, led the charge with a double, single and three RBI�s. Rowan Lam added two hits and an RBI while Chuck Roberts had an RBI single.
Waterloo starter Mike Curphey (1-4) took the loss after surrendering three earned runs on seven hits over three innings.
