The Royals scored three times in the top of the thirteenth inning to down the Baycats 5-2. Nathan Grant, who went 2 for 6 on the afternoon, drove in the winning run. Chris Becker added two hits for Guelph while Matt Spatafora went 3 for 7. Brian Dikdan (8-1) earned the win with six innings of scoreless relief. Mike Didier started and allowed two earned runs on three hits in seven innings. Cam Newitt (2-7) took the loss, giving up three earned runs in six innings of relief. Barrie Starter Brad Bissell threw seven innings, allowing one earned run. Liam O�Brien led the Baycats offense with two hits.

Dodgers Jump Out To 6-0 Lead, Hang On To Beat Majors

Jamaal Joseph went five strong innings to lead the Dodgers to a 9-7 win over the visiting Majors. Joesph did allow six runs, but only one was earned. He struck out five and walked three. Darryl Jennings threw the final two innings to pick up the save. Al Stephens led Oshawa at the plate with three hits, three RBI�s and a steal. Pat Tobin added two hits and three RBI�s while Darryl Reid scored three runs and had a pair of hits. London�s Kevin Virtue took the loss, giving up six runs (four earned) on four hits over two innings. Chuck Roberts led the Majors attack with two hits, two runs, two RBI�s and he stole home. Chad McKellar added a solo home run and scored twice.

Ogborne�s Arm Helps Dodgers Sweep Majors

Nat Ogborne upped his record to 2-0 with a complete-game gem Saturday afternoon as the Dodgers swept the visiting Majors. Ogborne gave up an earned run on just two hits while striking out nine and walking two. Al Stepens again led Oshawa with three hits and two RBI�s, and he gunned down a London runner at the plate to end the Majors half of the first inning. Graig Andrew added an RBI-single for the winners. For London Chuck Roberts had both hits, one a solo home run in the seventh inning. Andy Broughton took the loss, allowing five earned runs on nine hits in three and two-thirds innings.

Randy Curran picked up three RBI�s on two singles as Kitchener dumped Brantford 9-5 in game one of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon. Jeff Pietraszko added two RBI�s, a solo home run and a pair of singles for the Panthers. Joel Scott threw a complete-game five-hitter for the win. He gave up five earned runs on five hits while walking five and striking out three. Raul Borjas led Brantford with a triple, two singles and two RBI�s while Tyson Morgan added an RBI-single. Tom Sidorkewwicz took the loss, giving up four earned runs on three hits in one inning of work.

Figuerora Goes The Distance As Panthers Sweep Red Sox

Jesus Figuerora threw a complete-game six-hitter as the Panthers swept the Red Sox Saturday afternoon in Brantford. Kitchener is now in sole possession of fourth place and trails third-place Hamilton by half a game. Figuerora gave up three earned runs, struck out four and walked three. Luke Baker stroked two singles and added an RBI for the winners while Jeff Pietraszko had a triple. For Brantford Dwayne Ellis had two singles and three RBI�s while Dan Baribeau walked twice and scored twice. Mark Ferguson took the loss, allowing seven earned runs on twelve hits in six innings. He struck out eight and walked one.
