In a game that did not affect the playoff picture in any way the Cardinals doubled the visiting Baycats 4-2. Geoff Allen was the only Hamilton player with two hits, stroking two singles and scoring once. Joe Hill (2-0) earned the win, giving up two earned runs on seven hits in seven innings. He struck out seven and walked just one. First-baseman Sean Reilly came on in the eighth and threw two scoreless innings. He gave up no runs on three hits and struck out three in his first pitching appearance of the season. Barrie starter Ryan Johns (0-3) pitched well, but had one bad inning and took the loss. He gave up all four runs in the fifth, an inning that saw him walk in the third and fourth Cardinals runs. Jeremy Ulyenbroek led the Baycats with two hits and an RBI. Jarod McCord added two hits and a stolen base and Mark Raven also had two hits.
