Guelph Royals 17, Barrie Baycats 2
In Guelph, Sean Reilly had three hits and drove in five runs to pace the Guelph Royals to a 17-2 win over the Barrie Baycats in the Intercounty Baseball League playoffs on Wednesday. Guelph wins the series 4-2.
Kyle Leon was three-for-four and scored five runs and Trevor Churchill added three hits and drove in three runs for Guelph, who were the first home team to claim a win in the series.
Brian Dikdan (2-0) tossed six scoreless innings for his second win in the series.
Angus Roy (1-1) was tagged for nine runs - four earned - and nine hits in 3 2/3 innings and Dave Latour had a pair of hits for Barrie.

In Hamilton, Andy Steeds drove in four runs, including a two-run single in the ninth inning to lift the Hamilton Cardinals to a 7-6 come-from-behind win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Jon McGinn singled and drove in two runs and then scored the winning run in the ninth inning for Hamilton, who trailed by five runs in the eighth.
Nino Fasulo (1-0) picked up the win in relief after allowing one run and three hits and striking out four batters in four innings. Starter Brett Lawson gave up five runs and four hits in five innings.
Doug Dimma (0-1) took the loss for Toronto after giving up three runs in 1 1/3 innings of relief. Starter Rob Robinson allowed one run and two hits in six innings.
Gamin Teague tripled and drove in a run and Danny Gibbons added a solo homer in the third inning for the Maple Leafs, who lead the series 3-1.

In London, Jeff Pietraszko drove in the winning run with a single in the fifth inning and then added a two-run homer in the seventh to give the Kitchener Panthers a 7-3 win over the London majors. The series is tied at three games each and Kitchener will host Game 7 on Thursday.
Luke Baker had a pair of hits and scored the winning run and Brian Carter singled and drove in a run for Kitchener.
Brad Hagedorn (1-0) gave up one hit in four scoreless innings of relief for starter Jonathan Morbey, who allowed three runs and four hits in 4 1/3 innings.
Simon Galarraga had three hits and an RBI and John Boom singled and drove in a run for London.
Jeremy Middleton (1-1) surrendered five runs - four earned - and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings.
